Really enjoyed the day with Taka as my tourguide. His knowledge of the area is really impressive, and you will learn so much that can't be taught through the internet.

The views that can be found around the seven lakes of Mt. Fuji are really something special. With Taka as your guide you will be able to experience many beautiful locations that would be hard to find by yourself. From waterfalls to hidden caves. He is also very aware of weather conditions, and when to go to certain areas. Besides he is also a very friendly and nice guy who is always ready for a chat, you can easily spend much of tour just talking. Can highly recommend.

An amazing day to remember

Taka was an excellent tour guide, he had a depth of knowledge that enchanted the whole experience. He took us to some amazing places that most other sight seeing tours don’t go to. He was so lovely and very easy to talk to. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Like visiting a friend's hometown

Took the tour two days after Typhoon Hagibis hit Japan, and all the rail trips were cancelled. Taka took the extra trouble to organize us an alternative route via bus. It was unfortunately grey and drizzled all day so we did not see Mount Fuji, but we still had a great time exploring the areas around Lake Saiko and Kawaguchi. Ended the trip with a visit to Iyashinosato village, where we had tea in one of the model house with an elderly lady who used to lived in that village before it was destroyed by the landslide. Taka is a great guide, my little girl loved him, it really felt like you're visiting a friend and he is showing you the best of his hometown. Highly recommended.

Great tour and great guide

We had a tour with Taka on October 8th, and it was absolutely unforgettable. The area itself is - besides Mount Fuji - extremely beautiful and Taka is a fantastic guy going above and beyond what I would normally expect of a guide.
Thank you for making our trip such a wonderful memory. :-)

Taka helps ensure that your Fuji-area experience is incredible.

Four persons, a perfect half day, with Taka. Taka provided us a wealth of options including a great mix of off-the-beaten path locations. Very knowledgable, great English (for a bunch of US Southerners). Fuji did not disappoint, with fresh snowfall. Taka eagerly provided us with follow-on suggestions for the rest of our time in the area. Absolutely, definitely worth it.

Amazing Tour!

This was probably the best private and personalized tour I have ever taken. Taka was extremely knowledgeable about the areas he took us to, professional, friendly and also took great photos. Despite it raining, he was even prepared with umbrellas and flashlights to help navigate the wet and dark terrain. If I am ever around Mt. Fuji area again, I will definitely book Taka for another tour!

Amazing tour guide! Awesome experience! Unforgettable memories! We absolutely enjoyed every moment with Taka. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and communicative – it felt like we were spending time with an old friend.  He was great with our kids...racing with them, making them laugh, and have them enjoying nature and scenery. Our son even asked if we could see him again the next day. He took us to a local restaurant for a great lunch (homemade udon noodes!) and took us to sights that a normal tour company wouldn't be able to reach. We were able see so  much in a short amount of time - huge benefit when you're on a time restriction. Finally, due to the Tsunami a few days earlier, our normal route back to Tokyo was rerouted and upon hearing about the change, Taka went above and beyond to research and provide the most efficient transportation options to help us get back to Tokyo as easily as possible.  Everything we hoped for in a guide and more...we highly recommend Taka as a guide on your trip. It was definitely one of our favorite memories of Japan!

Great tour, fantastic guide!
We had a tour with Taka on the 10th of October. It was unforgettable experience for us. We have seen so much beauty in one day and had fun time with Taka. The place is a must to see! We were lucky with the weather and were able to see mountain Fuji from different locations during the day. The views were stunning. The mountain was without snow but still it was charming. Taka is a very professional guide and great representative of his country. He was answering all the emails and questions promptly, he gave us advices how to reach the place from our hotel in Tokyo, he was very considerate, polite and fun. He showed us touristy must see places (like Chureito pagoda) but also hidden secluded gems (like waterfall and a temple with beautiful huge trees). I was very happy to see a park with Mountain View, turning red kochia and other flowers. He also took a lot of great pictures for our memory. If you want to see beautiful nature of Japan, Mount Fuji from the best angles and to have unforgettable time, book this tour! I will definitely recommend it to all my friends.
Thank you Taka for a wonderful experience!
Tips:
1. If you are coming from Tokyo with Fuji Excursion express , reserve the seat in the train at least one day in advance .
2. Ask Taka to take you up to Chureito pagoda - one of the most famous spots.
3. Enjoy each moment 😉

Knowledgeable Guide, professional service

We had a guided tour with Taka who showed us the hidden secrets of the Mt. Fuji area. He was knowledgeable on the history of Japan and the cultural aspects of the shrine we visited. Having visited many shrines in Japan on our trip he gave us great detail of the meaning behind the structures. He was very professional and took great photos of us on our tour which he sent to us afterwards.
Thanks for an amazing guided tour!
