Native Fuji

Taka was wonderful the tour was perfect for our needs. He drove 4 of us around the beautiful area of Fuji five lakes. I don’t enjoy bus tours where you can only go where they take you. Japan is tricky to get around without a hire car in this area and Taka made our day very easy. Taka took us off to places where the tour buses can’t go. We wouldn’t have seen all the wonderful views, caves, waterfalls and lakes around Mt Fuji without this tour. Having looked at other tours Takas tour was very affordable compared to others. He took us wherever we wanted to go within the area.  Also recommended some great places to eat.  Highly recommended! Book early to avoid disappointment. Linda B - Australia

Taka-san took us to some very beautiful locations around the Fuji area. All with great views and felt less touristy since it was not crowded at all. He was very knowledgeable and great fun. We highly recommend this tour package.

We would like to thank Mr Taka for making our visit to the Kawaguchiko area memorable. Our guide is passionate about the place, professional, friendly and accomodating. We had a few lakes that we specifically wanted to see, and he made our trip more enriching by getting us to the less trodden spots that offered scenic panoramic views and also showed us other very specific unique features. He shared with us about Japanese language and culture and life in Japan. He is very easy to get along with and makes his guests feel very comfortable talking with him. We could not have experiences the lakes area like this if we took the tour bus routes. We saw the charm of the lakes area and the majesty of Mt Fuji throughout that clear morning. Knowing that we were headed back to Tokyo, our guide suggested what other places to visit and things to do, and helped us with common phrases we could use :) . We left knowing that if we came again, we would want him as our guide as well. We wish Mr Taka and his family the very best !

Taka took us to many places that we couldn't have possibly be able to go to by ourselves or tour bus. He gave us detailed information at each site/location and took us to many prime Fuji lookouts too. We really couldn't get enough of the views! He's really nice and friendly, speaks great English, is patient and drives really safely. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kawaguchiko region. 

Taka showed us a wonderful time and catered our afternoon exactly to what we wanted. He is very knowledgeable about the area and made great suggestions. Even helped us get set up at a local onsen to end the tour. He is a great guy and we look forward to coming back to visit again one day in the future. Taka provided exemplary service and flexibility to the needs of my family. He took us to many places that you will not see in any other tour. Taka was a excellent guide, the price was affordable and the service was excellent. The public transportation options around Fuji are not great. There is a packed tourist bus which does not make a full loop. Taka picked us up from the Ichiban art museum (also highly recommended) to take us to a number of viewing points of Mt Fuji where we could enjoy the fall foil-age. One of the best surprises was that he took us to a underground cave, which was a very unique experience, one that we did not expect and one which we would never be able to reach or find on our own. It was extremely interesting to learn the history and also speak with a local about Fuji. We enjoyed tea and cookies with an older woman at the traditional village, as Taka acted as the translator. Taka also was kind enough to stop by our hotel to pickup our bags and drop us off at the bus station for our next destination. Highly recommended!
