We had an amazing tour around the area and Taka is a great guide! He accommodated all of our wishes and had a very good tour planned. He has great knowledge about the area and the history and he knows all the good spots. We have only good things to say about our tour!
We also wanted to visit a ryokan but wasn’t sure which one. Taka was very helpful and went the ekstra mile to give us all of his best recommendations - both in relation to ryokans, food and attractions.
Don’t hesitate to book this tour. You won’t be disappointed!

Hi Taka! Still could not find my write up of my family's tour with you on Feb 12, 2020 in Trip Advisor! Thanks again for a wonderful and memorable tour of the Lake Area. Even though it was short, you covered quite a bit of area and took us to fantastic spots to view Mt. Fuji. You truly live up to all that is written on your web page. We will not forget the time spent there. One of the highlights of our tour of Japan. Best regards, Jessie, Pat and Amanda (From Malaysia and Australia)

We decided for the private Mt. Fuji Tour due to the short time we had in Kawaguchiko. And it was the best choice we could have made.
Taka picked us up from our Hotel and was from the very beginning extremely friendly and helpful. He was very attentive and asked what we would like to do and recommend what we could do accordingly to our wishes.
He brought us to the best spots to see the Mt. Fuji and we were able to take great pictures. We were able to experience the shrine culture and the nature around the Mt. Fuji. And experienced as well the history of the area.
Furthermore we were able to ask Taka all our questions. Not only about the Mt. Fuji but also about the japanese culture in general.
We were so happy with the 2 hour tour with him that we asked if he would be available for 2 more hours. Even though it was on a short notice he agreed and we were able to see even more.
For a short break he took us to a wonderful and real japanese lunch place where we were able to enjoy a wonderful lunch.
We can just highly recommend this private Tour to anyone who really wants to experience the Mt. Fuji.

Taka is the most amazing guide!! He brought us to many great locations of the area to view Mt. Fuji as well as some hidden spots such as a waterfall and forest caves. He shared a lot of local knowledge and stories with us of the area, and the whole experience is very personable. I highly recommend choosing Taka because you won't be able to get a better tour with anyone else.

Taka is an amazing guide, and if you are going to see Mt. Fuji I would highly recommend taking this tour. We had wanted to view Mt. Fuji at a particular spot which we requested, and he was able to take us there as well as to other fantastic viewpoints we wouldn't have known about if he hadn't shown us. He also brought us to a beautiful waterfall and showed us the caves in the forest.
He's completely fluent in English and the whole tour felt very personable. Taka shared a lot of local insights with us, both on the history and culture of the area as well as personal stories of the town. It is clear that he truly loves the area and wants to share the beauty of it with others from around the world.
***** HOW GREAT TAKA REALLY IS: *****
My friend and I had mentioned during the tour that we were planning on visiting the new fish market the next day. After the tour was over, Taka not only sent us the retouched photos super fast, he actually helped us check the opening times for the fish market and let us know that it was closed the next day, and gave us many other recommended places to visit in Tokyo instead!!
Taka really goes the extra mile to not only be a fantastic guide, but also an awesome new friend. If I were you, I wouldn't bother looking for other tours, just choose this one because it's the best.

Taka san took us to places where the view of Mount Fuji was in her full glory. He also brought us to places where we would definitely not have known about as it’s not in TripAdvisor. Great scenery. Taka also spent time explaining Japanese culture, Japanese history. He brought us to a local place to have lunch. We were the only tourists there. I highly recommend Taka san to anyone who wants a personalised tour of the Mount Fuji area!

Highlight of our trip to Japan! If you are going to Japan, then you have to book this tour with Taka. My family was hesitant about traveling to Fuji since we didn't know what to expect. You have to go on this tour, or your trip is not complete. Fuji is a gorgeous area, but if you don't have a guide you will not be able to get around easily. Also, if you go by yourself you will end up going to overpopulated, generic tourist spots. You need a local. You need an English-speaking guide. You need comfortable transportation. You need someone to take your pictures. You want the best spots. TAKA DOES ALL OF THIS! We have been all over the world, and have seen many tour guides. TAKA IS SIMPLY THE BEST! He will pick you up right at the train station, and then make a custom tour for you. He knows all the local spots. Why go to that generic spot where all the tourists are, when you go to a peaceful lake or local area and get a better picture of Fuji? Also, most google searches tell you to go to the ice cave or bat cave. Nope. Go to the Dragon Cave. Taka will take you there. This was our favorite part of Tokyo. The only bad part - we couldn't take Taka home with us :(
